Marathon for Coach Roche Scholarship

Donation protected
Hello family and friends,

I am running the Chicago marathon this year in honor of Jack Roche and the scholarship foundation we started. Jack was a best friend to me and a loving son, brother, cousin, friend, and manager to so many others. Please consider donating and I invite you to read more about the impact Jack had throughout the Chicago & Lawrence communities below, as well as more information regarding the scholarship (P.S. please do not worry about the GoFundMe fees as they will be covered):

In July of 2020, Chicago’s Southside lost one of our best when University of Kansas student Jack “Coach” Roche was tragically killed in a traffic accident. Jack was entering his senior year at the University of Kansas where he served as a manager on the football team. Jack was a proud Alumni of St. Catherine of Alexandria (’13) and Marist High School (’17).

To honor Jack’s legacy, John, Kim, Patrick, and Lilly, along with their family and friends, have started a scholarship fund in Jack’s name. This scholarship will honor students who have the same attributes that Jack embodied: selflessness, hard work, kindness, and school spirit.

These scholarships will be given to 8th grade students at St. Catherine of Alexandria who will be attending Marist High School, Marist High School Seniors who are athletic managers, and University of Kansas students.

Thank you to everyone who is able to donate!
