Marathon for Auryn

Donation protected
This year I will be running the Dublin City Marathon remotely in Co Mayo with a group of my running buddies on the October Bank Holiday Weekend.  When I read Auryn's story and realised I knew his Mum Trisha from our school days 100 years ago I decided to reach out and raise a few quid.  It is shocking that families have to go to these lengths to ensure a safe and healthy life for a child.

Last year, when Auryn was just 4, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer.Even though he’s closeto beating it, this cancer (just like all the worst villains) has a nasty habit of coming back. There’s a clinical trial for a vaccine that helps prevent relapse in the Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital, New Yorkand we’d love to get Auryn on the trial in early 2021.The total cost of the vaccine and travel etc. is €375,000. Every contribution, no matter how small will help beat this bad guy once and for all.Every donation will make you a hero to Auryn.
