I am running my first-ever marathon this year (2nd of April 2023 in Paris) and would like to make it special by raising money for a good cause.

I am vegan for 4 years now and most naturally comes the need to support animals. Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary is an amazing place founded by Fiona Oakes, who is an animal lover and brilliant many extreme ultra marathons participant and winner. I find out about Fiona from the club "Vegan runners" which I joined last year. What she does inspires me to go further and I would love to help the sanctuary as much as I can. I am planning to be visiting and volunteering at the sanctuary myself soon.

More information about Animal Sanctuary: They provide care and a forever home to around 600 rescued animals, both domestic and ex-farm. Fiona Oakes runs the sanctuary on her own with her partner Martin's help. Every single penny donated goes towards the cost of feeding and maintaining the well-being of the rescues.
