Hello, my name is Rikki and I’ve always dreamt about having a Family Bakery to provide quality treats and desserts. I started in home with a puckle of semi sweet chips and literally 2 cups of flour. I made my first order then would return to the grocery store to gain more product to flip. By the end of the day I had made $98. I have grown so many customers turned Family and they know more about my kids and myself than you could believe. I feel like we are an huge part of Chatham and Chatham is a huge part of us. After 4 years of hard work in home, I was able to save from orders to gain a Store Front with no grants or loans. We have always done food drives and donate to less fortunate … we donate gift cards and support the love of stag and does. Since opening brick and motor, we have had to use the money made that day to put towards the next days cost and supplies. We have gone through a bridge closure, inflation, Covid, street shutdowns as well as many other factors that made it almost impossible to operate. We recently had a new baby and I’ve had to be home with her. All of our savings were used to support my being home with her and now we seem to be sinking. We need tone stock out inventory and replace a mixer as well as get our Deli fixed. That is where these fund would be used for. . I’m worried that if things continue- we will be closed within 2 months. This was my last resort as I’m always trying to figure it out however I have no more ideas. Anything helps. We appreciate everything our customers do each day, you’re all part of our family. We will be holding a BBQ in honour of your support with helping us get back up on our feet. Thank you for listening Sweet C’s Fam Jam. We love providing you with quality sweets everyday. ❤️
