We are reaching out to ask for your support for an incredible mother and son, Maranda and Thomas Ferrell. At just 19 years old, Thomas is facing stage 5 kidney failure due to a genetic condition inherited from both of his parents. His mother, Maranda, is bravely stepping forward as his kidney donor—giving her son the ultimate gift of life.

Maranda is a single mom and a self-employed hair stylist, known for her kindness, joy, and unwavering love for her children. She has always put her kids first, and now, she is making the ultimate sacrifice to save Thomas. However, this life-saving procedure means she will be out of work for 6-8 weeks without any income.

Maranda also has two other children—Emma (21) and Jesse (17)—who are supporting their mom and brother through this challenging time. The financial burden of lost income and recovery is overwhelming, and we want to rally around this amazing family to give them the support they need.
