Hello everyone. I am reaching out to you today because a good friend of mine needs support. Xiomara Guzman, a  Certified Nursing Assistant and single mother of three, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. Mara will be starting chemotherapy the first week in December which means she will no longer be able to work, because she works in a very high risk setting with frequent positive COVID cases. Kindness, compassion and empathy are all qualities that Mara possesses and uses to make a positive impact on those she takes care of and comes in contact with. I understand the holidays are approaching, and it may be difficult to donate, but if you could please consider a small amount.  No amount is too small.
