In loving memory of Mara Lisa Ortega

My name is Judy and I’m Mara’s sister. As you know she passed away recently and our family is devastated. To help with the cost of her funeral expenses I have started this fundraiser. Anything helps and is wholeheartedly appreciated.

Everybody who had the privilege to meet her can all agree that she was the most beautiful, strong willed, kind and warm soul. She was a devoted mother of three, Sky, Ami and Tyson. Her children were her priority and her world. She had a smile that lit up every room and the most contagious laugh. Her voice and her songs of faith were like an angel are memorized in our hearts. Mara always helped others with open arms, no questions asked, and judgement free.

She was nerdy and well educated. Mara studied to be a counselor and was first of her generation in the master’s degree program. She inspired and influenced others to continue their education. Such a sweet woman she was. We all love you and miss you dearly. Rest in peace beautiful. ❤️
