Mar - a short film

Donation protected
Hello,

We are a new production company called KITA Films. We are creating our first short film titled Mar, and we need your help! We are looking to raise some money to go towards travel, accommodation, equipment, catering and film festival submission expenses.

THE PROJECT
Mar is a 20-25 minute film about how a couple's day at the beach is tarnished by discussions of marriage, relentlessness, religion and feminism.
-
The film follows a couple as they spend a day together at the beach, from sunrise to sunset. Their moments of closeness are both stagnated by familiarity and rattled by underlying tensions of their different views on the world. The film explores the issues of projecting personal and romantic anxieties on a partner’s belief system and asks where is the line between expression and animadversion?
