We're 4 Boston University students fundraising for our short film "Maqlubeh." Our story goes as follows: When faced with her school's upcoming "Culture Day," Palestinian-American teenager Jenin enlists her father's help to cook maqlubeh, a traditional Palestinian dish. But when things go awry in the kitchen, she's forced to contend with her cultural identity - and her connection to a homeland she's never set foot in.
