All funds go towards Maple's first hip replacement (June 2024), Physical therapy (ongoing), pain medications and supplements (daily), vet visits, ongoing needs for dental issues, and potential second hip replacement. Her medical bills already have a total of $15,000 for us, and that's without her second hip surgery.

Maple's history has never stopped her! She is a former ESLR survivor from Mexico, and saved by The Animal Pad Rescue. She was purposely kept in terrible living conditions.

Hearing the news that your new 1 year old puppy needs a double hip replacement was quite the shock.

We have been given a ballpark estimate cost of $5k-$7k per hip, with a surgery only total of around $10-14,000 for this girl to get to live a full, pain free life.

She has received her first Hip surgery (FHO) on her left hip in June 2024. We are still gaining muscles from her surgery, and she is finally seeming to be pain free with the help of supplements, a raw / homemade diet, and lots of physical therapy. We are still not out of the woods for her right hip, as it's the worst on x-ray.

Her next follow up is 3/23/25 to check on her teeth (which we know are in bad shape, with minimal enamel, and one being loose) and following up on her hips!

If you have met this sweet baby, you know she is the sweetest, cutest, cuddliest, and craziest little girl. She loves her cheetoooooh toys, wrestling with her sister Jesse, and never turns down a good treat!

We are so thankful for TAP saving her, and being able to show Maple what real love is, and that not all humans are bad.
