Manzanita's Teacher of The Year

Kathleen Bowman exemplifies what a great educator truly can be. Her gift to the world is shared daily, yearly with hundreds of students. Thus, it is a tremendous thrill to see that she is being honored as a Catalina Foothills School District 2017 Teacher of the Year!
The goal here is to be able to raise enough money to "host" Mrs. Bowman's Manzanita teaching peers so they can also attend this year's brunch celebration in support of her, all of the District honorees, and our beloved schools. This community event is a true testament and inspiration to how vital a role each and every one of our educators plays in our students' lives and how much we value their daily dedication. My hope is that this will be a nice way to say "Thank You" to all of the Manzanita teachers and supporting staff.
The TOY brunch celebration is on Sunday, March 12th, at Westward Look Resort from 10am-noon. Tickets are $30 per person and all funds raised go to support our very own CFSD Foundation so the money goes right back to the very cause. Wouldn't it be fantastic if we could send all 23 of our fabulous teachers along with our heroic educational assistants and our amazing specials teachers to this wonderful District event? (Mr. Fagan, our masterful music teacher, is also one of Kathleen's dear friends as are so many others!) The goal is to raise enough money to be able to invite and host all of Manzanita's extraordinary teaching team (and, of course, the front office too!)
