In Loving Memory of Manyee Chiu Shen
Donation protected
On January 14, 2023, a beautiful soul was met with eternal peace, after a brave battle with cancer for over two and a half years. Dearly missed and taken too soon, Manyee Chiu Shen’s wonderful spirit lives on through her children, family and friends.
Manyee was a remarkably caring, and dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, colleague, volunteer, and so much more. She was her children’s biggest fan, attending every school performance and sports game.
Manyee had a myriad of outer appearances (ever changing hair color and eye color) but inside she was always loyal, thoughtful, kind, and hard-working. During her 24-year career at Goldman Sachs she made a considerable impact across several functions (Risk, Fundamental Equity, Operations, and Multi-Asset Solutions). She was also an active member of the Rutgers and NYU communities, and enjoyed expanding horizons for young students through her work as a devoted volunteer for Junior Achievement.
Memories of Manyee’s kind nature, gracious smile, inspirational advice and generous spirit continue to warm our hearts.
We are asking for donations to support her family during this difficult time. All donations will go directly to her husband and children (Ella - 12 and Ethan - 10) to spend as they deem most necessary, including supporting her children’s education, covering medical bills, and donating to causes that meant the most to her. We know Manyee would want us to forge ahead and be the best we can be. We hope we make her proud.
