My name is Elizabeth, I am 39 years old, married and have always dreamt of having children with my wife and partner in crime, Mia (43).

We have been trying for 3-4 years now with an amazing donor and soon to start IVF in the coming months, however through all the testing, poking and prodding we have found a couple of hidden medical issues within my reproductive organs that are standing in the way (2 polyps in the uterus and mild endometriosis). Before I can even look at IVF, surgery is required to remove the endo tissue and the polyps and I just got the quote for it... $5,619...

I don't want particularly want to ask people for help, I have never been good at asking for it but in these circumstances I feel that I would be silly to just sit on my hands.

IVF is already an expensive enough journey, to have these surgery costs crop up is a surprise and in all honesty I need help raising some of the surgery costs so that we don't have to hold off any longer - let's face it we are not getting any younger!
