Hello everyone, my name is Alexandra Duque. I am

Claudia Duque’s older sister and I really appreciate you taking the time to read our story. From one day to another our lives have changed in the blink of an eye. We are going through a tough time and we are sure with your help we can keep moving forward. About a year ago my sister Claudia went to the hospital and was rushed to the emergency room for a stomach ache which turned out to be an Ovarian Cancer stage IV, with metastasis on the stomach and liver. Claudia started her treatment but unfortunately the news we have received recently is not the best. She lost her hair and a lot of weight. We couldn’t get even a wig yet for her due to it being very expensive. Ever since she was diagnosed with cancer, Claudia can’t work or support herself financially and we are hiting a financial crisis.

We have already started our journey with multiple doctor appointments, scans and bloodwork and hope to find our way as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we ask for any financial help possible to help us with this journey and the financial costs of medical bills, rent as well as treatments. As this diagnosis has impacted us emotionally and physically, it will also put a financial impact on us as a family. Claudia is emotionally devastated and depressed. I am the only person taking care of her and I have been taking time off work to help her, support her and be with her during her difficult journey.

Hola, mi nombre es Alexandra Duque, tengo mi hermana que adoro y se llama Claudia Duque, te agradezco el

tomarte unos minutos de tu tiempo para conocer y ser parte de nuestra historia. De repente, nuestras vidas han cambiado drásticamente y estamos seguros de que con tu ayuda podemos seguir avanzando. Claudia hace un año tuvo que ir a la sala de emergencias por un dolor de estómago que resultó ser un Cáncer de ovario en estado IV, con metástasis en el estómago y el hígado. Claudia comenzó su tratamiento, pero desafortunadamente las noticias no son las mejores ahora. Perdió el pelo, mucho peso, su casa, sus cosas en fin todo. Ahora estamos en la tarea de buscar una peluca pero son bastante costosas.

Desde que le diagnosticaron cáncer, no puede trabajar ni mantenerse financieramente, entramos en una crisis financiera.

Ya hemos comenzado nuestro recorrido con múltiples citas médicas, diagnósticos, exámenes y análisis de sangre, esperamos encontrar nuestro rumbo positivo lo antes posible.

Mientras tanto, pedimos cualquier ayuda posible para ayudarnos con este camino por recorrer que nos espera. Como este diagnóstico nos ha impactado emocional y físicamente, también ha tenido un impacto financiero en nosotros como familia. Claudia está emocionalmente devastada y deprimida. Soy la única persona cercana que la cuida y tengo que tomarme un tiempo libre del trabajo para ayudarla y estar con ella durante sus tratamientos y días de recuperación.

Cualquier donación monetaria sería muy apreciada. Tenemos que pagar cuentas elevadas y no están los recursos para hacerlo. Solo lo lograremos con tu ayuda y generosidad.
