Manuel Sánchez a 55-year-old man was hospitalized after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.
The incident, which took place shortly after 9 p.m. September 7, occurred on Holloway Street east of U.S. Highway 70.
Manuel Sanchez , 55, was walking south across eastbound Holloway Street when a sedan struck him.
Sanchez sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
After months struggling for his life, he passed away November 5th, 2019 .
His 4 nephews had to travel from Atlanta to Durham to visit him while he was alive after 30 years without seen him, but mother in Mexico would like to see her son after many years.
We are trying to help the family for all the expenses in sending his body to Mexico.
