Manuel "Manny" Ledesma Family relief Fund
It is with a VERY HEAVY HEART we share that our dear friend “Manny” passed peacefully this afternoon at Pomona Valley Hospital approximately 2:30pm. We are beyond devastated and heartbroken; as he was a true friend!!!

As we continue to pray for a healing miracle for our beloved friend Manuel “Manny” Ledesma; during this very uncertain time we humbly request any support you can possibly offer to assist the beautiful Ledesma Family.
Manny is a very hard-working husband, devoted father, kind friend, and has been fighting COVID-19 since December 11th and was admitted to Intensive Care Unit at Pomona Valley on December 19, 2020. He is currently in critical condition in a medically induced coma, connected to a ventilator, battling for his life after contacting pneumonia and COVID-19. HealthCare workers continue to help his body to try and start healing with several treatments, most recently he received a blood transfusion and has been put on a dialysis machine to help his kidneys function and get his body to fight off the virus… We all continue to pray for his health and full recovery.
Out of concern and the wellbeing of the Ladesma Family, we’ve put together this “GoFundMe” page as “Manny” has ALWAYS been the Sole Provider for his family. As I’m sure we can all imagine the emotional toll this is taking on Dolores and his girls; as they are unable to be by his side. We’d like to try and lessen their burdens by providing them financial relief to assist with their Household costs (food, rent, medical, etc.) as all sources of income has come to a halt. His family has been trying to get his disability processed through EDD but have been unsuccessful thus far.
Manny is a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. He is a great friend and well known in his community for being a very kind, generous and hardworking. Manny started working at Jackson Guitars in the mid 80’s and moved to Fender Guitars upon the acquisition; he is one of the “MAIN” Buffers for over 35+ Years. He also provides buffing for DRL Graphics, GMP Guitars and others. If you are the proud owner of a Jackson or Charvel Custom Shop; Dan Lawrence refin project; or second generation GMP Guitars chances are that “Manny” is the one that buffed it providing you that flawless finish.
We'd like to raise $15,000 to support the Ledesma family.
The funds will help them in the following ways:
*Covering Rent, Food, Household bills, etc.
*Helping ensure that his family will be financially stable during these times
*Covering hospital and possibly any future therapy bills
Let us do for Manny what he has always done for his family and his community. This is our chance to be the kind of community for each other that we aspire to be: helping others in their time of need. Mientras continuamos orando por un milagro sanador para nuestro amado amigo Manuel “Manny” Ledesma; Durante este tiempo tan incierto, solicitamos humildemente cualquier apoyo que pueda ofrecer para ayudar a la hermosa Familia Ledesma.
Manny es un esposo muy trabajador, un padre devoto, un amigo amable y ha estado luchando contra el COVID-19 desde el 11 de diciembre y fue admitido en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos en Pomona Valley el 19 de diciembre de 2020. Actualmente se encuentra en estado crítico en un estado médico coma inducido, conectado a un ventilador, luchando por su vida después de contactarse con neumonía y COVID-19. Los trabajadores de HealthCare continúan ayudando a su cuerpo a tratar de comenzar a sanar con varios tratamientos, más recientemente recibió una transfusión de sangre y lo pusieron en una máquina de diálisis para ayudar a que sus riñones funcionen y lograr que su cuerpo luche contra el virus ... Todos continuamos reza por su salud y su plena recuperación.
Por preocupación y por el bienestar de la familia LaDesma, hemos creado esta página "GoFundMe", ya que "Manny" SIEMPRE ha sido el único proveedor de su familia. Como estoy seguro de que todos podemos imaginar el precio emocional que esto está teniendo en Dolores y sus chicas; ya que no pueden estar a su lado. Nos gustaría tratar de reducir sus cargas brindándoles un alivio financiero para ayudarlos con los costos del hogar (comida, alquiler, atención médica, etc.) ya que todas las fuentes de ingresos se han detenido. Su familia ha estado tratando de procesar su discapacidad a través del EDD, pero hasta ahora no ha tenido éxito.
Manny es un esposo amoroso, padre y abuelo devoto. Es un gran amigo y muy conocido en su comunidad por ser muy amable, generoso y trabajador. Manny comenzó a trabajar en Jackson Guitars a mediados de los 80 y se trasladó a Fender Guitars tras la adquisición; Este es uno de los amortiguadores "PRINCIPALES" durante más de 35 años.
