My name is Zainab, and I am the daughter of Mansour Ali Said.

On February 15, 2026, my beloved father returned to Allah after a long illness. Watching someone you love slowly struggle is one of the hardest tests, but through it all, my father remained patient, faithful, and strong. He never complained. He never lost hope. His trust in Allah never wavered.

He was a religious and devoted family man who cared deeply about his children, his relatives, and community. He was the kind of person who would help others quietly, without wanting recognition. His life was built on faith, generosity, and service.

This Ramadan, our family wants to honor his legacy by building a water well as Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) in his name. In Islam, ongoing charity continues to benefit a person even after they pass away. Every drop of water that quenches someone’s thirst will, insha’Allah, be a source of mercy, light, and elevation for him in his grave.

Water is life. Something so simple for many of us can be a daily struggle for others. We hope this well will serve families for years to come and become a lasting charity in my father’s name.
