Manos Amigas is a non profit organization that provides needed services, help and support to poor working families in Colonias Rancho de Anapra and Lomas de Poleo, Juarez, Mexico. We provide financial assistance for school children so they will be able to attend school and work with the local families to provide a Vacation Bible School for the children during the summer. Our mission is to live, work, and share with those who are poor, marginalized, or oppressed and search for understanding of the social, political, and economic conditions in which these people live - in dialog with the conditions of life experienced elsewhere.

An anonymous donor will match funds raised untill March 17, 2016 up to $25,000! These fund will be used to:

1) Provide scholarship money for students grade one through college. Public schools in Mexico have fees and tuition that many families cannot afford.
 
2) Provide Vacation Bible School for 150 children in the community to keep them active and engaged through the summer time.

3) Provide immediate help for family emergencies and provide food assistance for those in need.

4) Build an addition on the Manos Amigas house. Our mission house is used by traveling volunteers and local organizers to host monthly events, food and supply distribution and more. An addition to this house will greatly increase supply storage.
