Mano Chamal For Bishnu Pokhrel’s Family

It is with deep sorrow that we inform the passing of Bishnu Pokhrel, who departed this life peacefully on August 24, 2025, at 5:45 PM, at the age of 71.

Bishnu was born on January 1, 1954, in Tache, Samchi, Bhutan, to the late Tika Ram Pokhrel and the late Padma Pokhrel. A devoted family man, Bishnu built a life rooted in love, resilience, and dedication.

In 1992, he and his family resided in Beldangi-2, Sector G4-43, for 19 years before moving to Vermont in 2011. In 2022, he settled in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where he lived until his passing.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kaushika Pokhrel, his two sons and their families:

• Deo (Debu) Pokhrel and Ishori Pokhrel

• Yadhu Pokhrel and Rupa Pokhrel

He was a proud grandfather to Ankit Pokhrel, Akrit Pokhrel, Sharika Pokhrel, and Sukriti Pokhrel, who will carry forward his legacy of love and guidance.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 2:30 PM at 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA.

Bishnu will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose kindness and strength touched all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and community.
