Manny's Fight is Our Fight!!

Firefighter and Advanced EMT, Amanda "Manny" (Johnson/Winot) Silva with the Springfield Fire Department needs our help!!!!

She is a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother of three amazing boys, including a 5-year-old youngest son. Manny is one of the kindest humans you will meet. She is generous, faithful, courageous, diligent, considerate, and authentic. She has served our community and the surrounding areas for many years, including roles at the Emergency Department, Elm Hill School, and Chester Ambulance.

Recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer, Manny is undergoing 18 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by surgery and radiation. She will be out of work during treatment. The bills will start to pile up. Trips to treatment, over-the-counter costs, and medical things not covered will get costly. Then, not receiving a full paycheck makes it next to impossible.

What we can do to make it a little more bearable......Let's come together to support Manny during this journey. #MANNYSTRONG
