In Loving Memory of Manny Velazco

UPDATE 4/27/2024:

With broken hearts, we are sad to say that Manny has passed on today. We are so saddened to not be able to see his bright, smiling face tomorrow and the days that follow. Please pray for his wife, daughter, sister, father, and all of those that love him so much, to have the strength and love to deal with this terrible loss.

As funeral costs are in the near future, along with the already difficult financial status, the donations are needed even more so now.

Hello, we are Avigaille, Almer, and Anna… My family and I are trying to raise money to help my cousin Manny with the financial burdens that he and his wife are facing during his recent decline in health and hospitalizations.

Approximately 3 months ago, his health took a turn for the worst. His exact auto-immune diagnosis is still pending but all we know at this time is that it is attacking his muscles, tendons, and skin. These symptoms are affecting the way he is eating, and making him feel very weak. He has lost over 80 lbs and has now fallen into a deep depression. Manny was always known as the funny uncle/dad that made every kid laugh… and we are hoping to get that smile back again!

Before his sickness, he was the breadwinner of his family and insurance holder. He just recently started a new job, and only 3 weeks later was hospitalized. Sadly, he is not eligible for many of the benefits needed for his healthcare.

His wife, Pam, is working her full-time job but it is becoming very difficult to make ends meet, as they have a daughter that is currently in college.
