Malawi Manna House Mission Trip
Donation protected
I traveled to Malawi, Africa in 2007 and fell in love with the people and I was able to see the needs of the people there. Malawi, Africa is a small country on the southeastern side of Africa that is home to over 1,200,000 orphans and year after year it remains one of the poorest countries in the world. In 2015, Parkhills Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas committed to building an orphan feeding station in Malawi. The construction for Manna House began in March 2016. Once completed, it will support the daily feeding of 150 orphans along with providing school uniforms, school supplies, and some medical assistance.
In July 2016, a team from Parkhills Baptist Church will be traveling to Malawi to participate in the completion of Manna House and the beginning the feeding program. As someone who has seen firsthand the needs of these orphans, it has been laid on my heart to be a part of this pivotal moment in the lives of these children.
I am asking for your help in covering the travel costs for this trip. The cost of the travel is $3,500 which needs to be paid by July 1, 2016. Any excess money raised will be donated to support the Manna House feeding program.
Can you help make a difference in these children’s lives?
