Since 3rd of May, 2023, there has been an ongoing ethnic clash in Manipur. The violence has claimed many lives in the state with more than 50,000+ people having been displaced and housed in various relief camps across the state.

The Struggle of Displaced Kids:
Manipur, a region blessed with natural beauty, has unfortunately been marred by socio-political unrest, leading to the displacement of numerous families. These innocent children have been uprooted from their homes, schools, and familiar surroundings, leaving them vulnerable and disheartened. Their dreams and aspirations hang in the balance as they struggle to access quality education and regain a sense of stability.

The Manipuri Kitchen in partnership with MitSna, we believe that education has the power to break the shackles of poverty and adversity. Our vision is to provide these displaced kids in Manipur with a nurturing environment that fosters learning, growth, and healing. We aim to offer them access to education and educational projects that not only develop their academic skills but also nurture their emotional well-being, creativity, and sense of belonging.
