An extraordinary young scientist Kamil Bojarczuk, PhD, passed suddenly last Saturday, 3th of October. His personal and scientific dreams were stopped far too early.
Kamil was a postdoc at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at the group of Margaret Shipp, where he investigated novel approach for the treatment of lymphoid malignancies. He later moved to Göttingen to the laboratory of Bjoern Chapuy and a few weeks ago he accepted the position as a group leader of Immuneoncology Group at PORT in Wroclaw, Poland. He was always dreaming about going back to Poland to fully unleash his potential as a scientist, mentor and leader.
Kamil was very passionate about science and was an extraordinary teacher, mentor and a friend. He was always a great joy to talk to. A sharp scientific mind and a man with a fantastic sense of humor. A prolific scientist, author of multiple scientific publications and discoveries
Kamil has left his wife Kinga and a lively 6-year-old daughter Marianna.
This fundraiser is to support Marianna's education.
