Mango's Emergency Medical Care
Donation protected
This is Mango and he is 3 1/2 years old. He is my daughter's kitty and she loves him more than anything else. Recently he has been losing weight and has been lethargic. I took him to the vet and discovered he was very sick. He was admitted to the emergency vet hospital on December 12th (my daughter's birthday). After many tests and a 2 1/2 day stay he was diagnosed with FIP. With all of the diagnostic labs I did, first at my regular vet, and then at the emergency vet, along with his stay there, and the meds I needed to purchase to try to cure the FIP I spent well over $9,000 and this number will continue to go up as I continue to buy more meds to complete the 12 week course of antiviral medicine that he needs. I spent the money to save his life for Allyson but now I do not know what I am going to do when the bill for the credit card I used comes due.
