Instead of a traditional honeymoon, God is leading us to serve on the mission field in Xativa, Spain this July.

Dave has served with HFBC and our partner church in Xativa over the past two summers, and, after spending time in prayer, we decided to go to Xativa this summer to serve together after we are married. Both of us have a heart for missions that we live out daily in our jobs. Our journey together has always been about God's timing, and what better way to honor Him than by starting our marriage with time dedicated to serving Him and His people. Our hearts are for people to know Christ not only by our words, but by our actions, and to explore the different cultures of His people. To God be the glory!

The mission trip to Xativa is focused on children's ministry, and we will be leading a Vacation Bible School and English camp.  We will also help our partner church with community evangelism and serve in their assisted living center. Less than one percent of Spain’s population of 50 million are evangelical Christians, and we hope to help spread the Gospel throughout this country.

Throughout the trip we will be posting photos and sharing stories of what God is doing in Spain.
