Mandy's life changed overnight!

My first GoFund Me, so bear with me! My heart has lead me to create this page for my dear friend.

Mandys story:

I’ve known Amanda "Mandy" Wilkerson for the past 20 years! She suffered a spinal cord injury back on August 1 and is paralyzed from the breast down! While we have all the faith SHE WILL WALK AGAIN, she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. I will say watching her go through this has been one of the most inspiring stories to witness! She has kept the best positive attitude like nothing I’ve ever seen! Amanda has always struggled with Faith and her relationship with the Lord! However, to watch her grow spiritually through this ordeal has been so magnificent! I truly feel the Lord is using her injury to build her relationship with him! She has had so much pain and heartache with this injury, and she has given it all to God!! The doctors asked, “why do you think the shoulder pain went away?” She replied, “God”! She is living her testimony and is screaming it to the heavens!

These types of injuries take several months to a year to heal. She is also gaining a lot of medical debt that will keep on adding up, not to mention the prescriptions and medical supplies needed once she is home. She is incurring all these expenses while only earning 60% pay on her work disability. Lastly, due to her injury, she will have to move to a one-level home, which added a whole other level of expenses! Mandy is always the first to volunteer for those less fortunate, and now it’s our chance to help her! No donation is too small and will be greatly appreciated!!
