Mandy's Brain Cancer Recovery Fund

Hello,

 

My name is Jeff and I'm fundraising to help my dear friend Mandy during her recovery from brain surgery. About one year ago, a tumor was discovered on Mandy's brain and she underwent brain surgery. Her medical team elected to not remove the entire tumor because it was located on the area of the brain that controls speech. This treatment worked for a while, but it was recently discovered that the tumor is growing yet again. Her medical team has decided that a second (more aggressive) surgery is needed.

 

In a few weeks Mandy will undergo a second brain surgery, which could possibly alter her ability to speak.

 

Mandy is a loving and caring friend, artist, and mom. She has been living for a year with the effects of her first surgery and as a result has had limited opportunity to work. She has been living off of her work as a tattoo artist, but will be unable to continue to work for the foreseeable future. Her medical bills will be substantial, and while she will (hopefully) be receiving disability payments from the State, it will not be enough to cover her modest expenses and medical bills.

 

I am hoping to raise $10,000 so that Mandy can go into her recovery with less financial stress. Lets help her focus on healing. Any donations given will go directly to her bank account.
