Mandy's brain injury medical costs

Hi, my name is Linda and I'm fundraising for my daughter, Mandy Camillucci, who suffered a brain injury from a concussion. She was simply turning to put laundry away, tripped over her cat and fell directly into the latch edge end of a door, knocked out for a few minutes. She's had four trips to the emergency room, two by ambulance for losing consciousness and not breathing. She's had two CT scans and one MRI. Because of this injury she hasn't been able to work for a month and no date in sight yet for her to return. She's been seeing a brain injury specialist, speech therapists, and physical therapists. Improvement has been made but the financial picture is frightening. Mandy works hard and enjoys her job as a commercial property manager, her co-workers miss her presence and positive energy in the office; and, her clients, tenants, maintenance techs, vendors and contractors miss her, too. I'm not sure we'll meet the goal, but any amount will help offset the cost that her medical insurance can't cover. Thank you for any contribution you make and please share with people you know. UPDATE 8/3/2023: Mandy is ending her third week back at work after experiencing nearly two months of not being able to speak properly, which we learned is a condition called dysarthria. It felt miraculous that she woke up on July 5th, suddenly speaking normally. She did go the two whole days before without speaking a single word. The neurologist says staying silent didn't have anything to do with it, but I have my doubts about that assessment. She is working part-time as she still experiences headaches and exhaustion but each day brings her closer to full healing.

Many thanks to all who donated to her cause. In the end, it may not be exactly enough to cover all her medical bills as they trickle in, but the stress and fear is greatly alleviated.
