This past Easter weekend, Mandy Walker went to Southern California to visit her best friend. While at dinner on Friday night, she suffered a seizure. Thankfully she was not alone or worse yet driving when this occurred. Her friend noticed that she was behaving strangely and had the sense to call 911 immediately. Once she arrived at the hospital, they conducted numerous tests where they found out she in fact has a tumor in her brain. The doctors feel it is imperative that she have this removed.
Luckily, Redwood City has a wonderful team of neurologists that can properly treat Mandy so she can be closer to home. They will be removing the tumor and testing the mass. Until after the tumor is removed, and the threat of further seizures is eliminated, she will be unable to drive due to the seizure and medications she is taking. Mandy will be missing a great deal of work and her life is going to drastically change for the next couple of months.
This was supposed to be a relaxing weekend for Mandy and her best friend. Although, these unfortunate events resulted in a stressful medical event, she feels lucky to be aware of her current health situation.
She wants to thank everyone for the love and support that they have provided. She looks foward to having the tumor removed so she can get back to being the Mandy we all love so much!
Your support will help her through this trying time. She will not be able to work for much of the next few weeks which puts a huge financial stress on her. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!
