A Devastating Loss

It is with a heavy heart that I report the loss of one of the greatest people I know.  Mandy passed late September while still in Mexico fighting this awful disease.  She was positive, full of love, full of sass right up to the last minute.

She was so appreciative to everyone for supporting her and helping her spend a couple more years with her family.

On October 27 we had an amazing celebration of life for Mandy with 250 people coming out to share stories, laugh, and reflect on how Mandy changed each and everyone of our lives.  We had Indigenous Elders saying prayers, African drumming, Tibetan ceremonies, Syrian and Nepali food, bonfires, prayer flags, and lots of love.  It was just as we can imagine Mandy would love it.  Thanks to all those that helped out.

Mandy will live in our hearts forever and the model she set for us in our own lives will help drive us all to be happy, better, more loving people.  We will always be in her debt for that.
