A very good friend of mine has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer at the young age of 35. She is a strong woman with a big heart, and her husband and 2 small children fill the center of her life. She is one that you can count on if you need help no matter how big or small it might be. One of her biggest flaws is she won't ask for help herself. That is why I am doing it for her. The next year is going to be full of doctors appointments,  recovery from chemo treatments and surgeries. Expenses like medical bills, travel expenses and childcare are going to add up fast.  I want to help relieve any stress I can to help her heal and live a full life for her family. She has already started her treatments and continues to be strong just as I expected she would, but the bills are already coming in.  I also wanted to share with you a little that she wrote to let you see her strong will yourself.

"Life is full of ups and downs and new challenges that shape you to become the person you are. How you face them determines if it will make you a better person or worse. A couple weeks ago I was given one of my toughest challenges in life. Stage 3 breast cancer. I have a great doctor and together with her and her team we feel that in a few months I will look back at this as just another bump in the road. I know it will be rocky but I fully intend to make it through and be a better person on the other side. Thank you in advance for all your support, positive thoughts and energy.
