My name is Erica, I am organizing this fundraiser for my very good friend Mandy. She is a Real Estate Broker here in the Rogue Valley with a heart of gold. She is a single mom of two boys (19 and 15) with a brand new puppy. A few weeks back she had extremely bad pains in her lower abdomen. She was alone in the house but managed to call 911. They had to break in her back window to get to her to the hospital and perform emergency surgery on her, opening up her entire stomach. They were successful in taking about a foot of lower intestines out leaving her about an 8 inch scar with staples. She was hospitalized for about 5 days. Her medical bills are starting to come in and they are over $100,000 at this time. Mandy has never asked for hand-outs in her whole life so this is a BIG ask and way outside of her comfort zone but she needs help. She has no health insurance so this is a very stressful time as you can imagine. If you can donate even $10 would help greatly.
