Hi friends, As it is the beginning of mitochondrial disease awareness week and I’ve been so inspired by my friend and Sam’s godmother who has walked 1000 miles raising awareness and funds for Leigh Network 
I’m going to try and follow in her footsteps and walk 1000 miles by 
9 August 2023.
I’ve chosen 9 August ‘23 as this marks 30 years since my son Samuel lost his fight to mitochondrial disease at just 19 months old. 
30 years and still no cure or treatments.  Fayes health is deteriorating and people still don’t know about mitochondrial disease.  It can happen to anyone. 
I want to raise £300.00 for Leigh Network as all money raised goes to research and supporting families with mitochondrial disease.
