Mandy Frail

Sadly & unexpectedly we lost our Mum Mandy Frail at the young age of 58 on the 11th August 2023 to Cancer.

She was only diagnosed 6 weeks ago when she was admitted to hospital for pancretitis, just weeks before this she was in hospital for a minor stroke. Whilst in hospital for the stroke mum checked all her affairs and was making sure she had everything in order, during this time we had discovered mums funeral fund was 60 days overdue because she had just recently changed banks. When we contacted them they had cancelled it and made her re join with a new policy. Due to this the policy is now void as she had to survive 12 months. Mum had suffered numerous health conditions over the years and was also diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and beat it, this is why for years she had always had a funeral fund so she wouldn’t leave us kids with the burden of cost while we’re grieving.

Mum was very devoted to her family and is sadly leaving behind 6 kids & 8 grandkids, one of whom she had full custody of since birth and now he’s 10 years old. There wasn’t a school event, birthday or outing she would miss out on and would drop everything for any one of them or any of her family or friends.

We are asking for assistance to help cover the cost to take Mum home to Brewarrina where she always wanted to be and give her the send off she deserves. She was a proud Ngemba woman and no matter how many years passed, Brewarrina was always home to her.
