To our friends and family,

We are writing this letter to let you know that our beautiful mum/wife, Mandy was cruelly taken from us this week. She had been battling an extremely rare autoimmune disease for the majority of 2025, and fought to the very end but sadly she lost the battle in the early hours of Thursday morning.

As many of you will know from meeting her, Mandy always had her family close to her heart and was the most loving Wife, Mum & Nana anyone could’ve ever asked for and her passing will leave an irreparable hole in everybody’s lives.

We couldn’t have imagined things were going to end this way, nobody deserves to have their life cut so short, especially not our Mandy.

The sheer amount of love and compassion people have shown in their messages since we lost her has warmed our hearts knowing that she was loved by so many, and consequently we are writing this to ask for some help regarding the next step.

We understand that this time of year can be a time of financial hardship for so many, but would be eternally grateful if anybody can find it in their hearts to make a donation towards a ceremony in her honour.

The funds will be used to cover a ceremonial cremation for her, and she has asked us to take her to the pier at Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth, her favourite place on earth, for one final gaze into the ocean, her place of peace and serenity before we let her go
