Please help Mandy, a recent young widow, with two children under the age of five, get some financial stability after the sudden loss of her husband, Paul.
Three days after their first Christmas as a family of 4, a fatal brain aneurysm shattered their world in the blink of an eye. A young man, who was a warm, loving husband and father, was found unresponsive without so much as a warning.
His wife finds herself in widowhood much earlier than most people experience it. She navigates grief while trying to be strong, present, and loving for 2 beautiful children that depend on her for everything. Paul's 4-year-old son is having a hard time accepting that his daddy is never coming back. His 7-month-old daughter will only remember her daddy through photos and can sense something is off.
If you didn’t know Paul…you would have liked him, most people did. He had a heart just as big as he was tall. He was 6’6”.
Mandy, Archie, and Lily were the center of Paul’s world. He loved them deeply and showed it every day. He was a great big brother who always had his brother’s back. He was a dutiful son who called his mom every day. He was a loyal friend who would always tell you the hard truth. Paul was a large personality with a sarcastic sense of humor, abundant honesty, and fiercely loyal. Paul had a strong moral compass. He dependably did the right thing, even when it wasn’t easy. He was a hard worker who regularly went the extra mile at work, at home, and in his community. He was a good man.
Mandy started the new year planning a funeral. Instead of being able to focus on grieving and healing, his wife is planning through the harsh reality of suddenly being the sole provider for 2 small children with more than half of the income previously held missing. The expenses don’t stop - mortgage, utilities, childcare, groceries, medical bills, and necessities for two growing children that add up quickly. Though Paul did have life insurance through work, he was denied the opportunity to get the type and amount of coverage that a parent to young children would need due to a pre-existing health condition.
This is not the future they had hoped to have for their children. Please help them make the best out of the horrific hand that they were dealt. Every little bit you give provides health and stability for these two adorable kids. Your generous gift will help meet the immediate needs of the children:
• Keeping a stable home.
• Covering essential living expenses.
• Providing childcare while Paul's wife works to support the family.
• Letting their mom focus on being the best mom possible without constant worry.
We're hoping to show them how a community can come together to lend support. After donating, please consider posting/sharing so we can get them all the help we can. Thank you for your support.
