Mando is a beautiful, friendly 2 year old stray who has been loved and cared for, for years. He has always known where to come for food, kindness, shade, love, and comfort. Though he has lived outside, he has never been “just a stray” to us. He is a gentle soul who has been loved, and valued.
A few days ago, Mando disappeared for two days. When he finally showed back up, he was not the same cat. He looked like he had been through something terrible. His body showed signs that he had suffered, and his decline was severe enough that we knew we had to act immediately.
We were able to safely trap him and rush him to the emergency vet, where he is now receiving the care he desperately needs. Mando’s treatment plan is expensive, but he is young, sweet, adoptable, and has so much life left ahead of him. He deserves the chance to heal, to be safe, and to finally know what it feels like to be loved inside a home.
Mando has survived on the streets and it’s time he gets to experience love indoors. He has already fought so hard to make it back to the people who care about him. Now it is our turn to fight for him.
We are raising funds to cover his emergency vet visit, diagnostics, medications, hospitalization, and the treatment he needs to recover. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help give Mando the chance at the long, beautiful life he deserves.
