From Kylee: Josh and I have been contemplating how we can make this work and unfortunately our last option is asking our friends, family and community for help. If you’re not familiar with our dog Mandi she’s a super sweet senior gal that I fostered last October while Josh was deployed, she was rescued from a serious case where 270 dogs were neglected at a shelter in Hawaii and by the grace of the universe she was released for adoption this May in which we jumped at the opportunity to officially make her a Yavorsky. Josh and I are currently in the process of moving back home and made the decision to send our fur babies back to Alaska ahead of us before the temperatures got too cold and they could not fly. Unfortunately yesterday morning Mandi fell outside on the stairs and due to being severely malnourished before we had her her bones are extremely fragile, this sadly has resulted in Mandi suffering a hip and wrist dislocation in which she will need to see an orthopedic veterinarian specialist. Without these surgeries our sweet girl will need to take her final rest and we just can’t let that happen. As a last resort to save our baby we’re asking for your help even if thats just a share on Facebook, retweet on twitter or if you could simply screenshot this photo and post to your Instagram story with my profile tagged. ANYTHING helps. Right now we’re looking at being able to schedule her an appointment January 8th in Anchorage at the Veterinary Specialists of Alaska and I’m flying out of Honolulu tomorrow night to be with her. We know that Mandi has SO much life left to live and Josh and I would be forever grateful for any bit of help you can provide.
