In April, I will be running my very first marathon—the Manchester Marathon—to raise money for Elsie’s Story. Elsie was one of the girls who tragically lost their lives in the Southport attack. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, as I work closely with Elsie’s godparent David, and have seen firsthand how deeply this loss has affected those who loved her.

I’ve only ever completed one half marathon, back in November, but I’m determined to push myself further than ever before. Every step I take in training and on race day is for Elsie and to honor her memory. My goal is to raise as much money as possible to support Elsie’s Story and ensure her legacy continues to make a difference.
