As many of you know, in November I lost my lifelong best friend, Katelyn, to an undetected brain aneurysm. It’s a loss that broke me in ways I can’t fully explain, and my heart aches knowing the unimaginable pain her family continue to live with every day.

At the start of 2026, I decided to turn that pain into something positive and began training for a marathon to honour her.

On Tuesday 21st April 2026, Olivia Cooke and I officially signed up to run the Manchester Marathon in her honour, raising money for Preston Head Trauma Unit, a cause now so close to home.

The Marathon will take place on Sunday 18th April 2027
