On 19th April I will be running the Manchester Marathon.

I’m raising money for Appledown Rescue and Rehoming Kennels, for who I have volunteered for 7 years.

Things are more desperate than ever and for every step I run I will remember all of the lovely dogs Appledown help and continue to save.

More information about Appledown Rescue and Rehoming Kennels: To take in stray and unwanted dogs from all over the local area and provide immediate warm, dry shelter, food and medical help if necessary. They keep every dog for 7 days to allow an existing owner to come forward and reclaim it. During this time, they assess every dog for suitability for rehoming should an owner not come forward. They do everything they can to find every suitable dog in our care a loving, forever home.
