Manbuk Ethiopia Restoration fund

Hi My name is Beza Fitaye Assegu. I am raising funds to help over 52 thousand people that have been displaced by the war in Ethiopia in the town of Manbuk. Manbuk is a town located in Western Ethiopia, in Metekel Zone of the Benishangul-Gumuz Region. The town has 30 local areas (kebleles). Of the 30 local areas , 17 have been displaced by the current conflict. Approximately 52 thousand people currently live in temporary shelters. This fund raising effort is to cover the immediate need of the displaced people (like food, sanitary items and basic home goods). The IDPs (internally displaced people) have started to return to their homes; which have been destroyed by the rebels. My work is being done as part of the "greatethiopiangivingback" initiative that is being led by Bethlehem Getachew.
