THE STORY SO FAR...

 

At MANA Youth Project, our core mission & purpose on this planet is to successfully and competently walk alongside Young People as they strive to gain authorship over their own lives and personal narratives.

 

For the last 5 years, MANA Youth Project has been doing this work within the communities of Melbourne, Australia.

Continuing to build from our Grass-roots, we have seen a lot of growth in our Programs, Mentoring Philosophies and Service Delivery.

 

We attribute a lot of that growth to our unique creative vision, building MANA Youth Project from the ground up, navigating and building our Online Presence on Social Media, having complete creative direction in all of our Graphics Design, Marketing, Video Production, Website and Community Resources including E-Books, Program Resources & Promotional Materials.

And Never watering down our work by Outsourcing or letting a governing body do our work for us.

 

In 2020 & 2021, amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic & all the subsequent lockdowns that followed suit, we continued to work Face-to-Face with young people and their families when other services shut their doors.

Unfortunately, it was hard to source the resources we needed to provide a physical version of our Mentee Starter Packs due to the inability to access Printing Services or source Physical Journals to offer to our mentees.

 

 

THE PATHFINDER FIELD MANUAL

For the development of this project & With the recent completion of our unique & innovative Narrative Mentorship Framework, we're combining:

 

- Our Foundational 6-Week Pathfinder Mentorship Program: This is our core program that introduces young people to their very own Heroes Journey.

- The Blank Journal & Worksheet Booklet each new mentee receives at the start of their journey.

 

 

HOW YOU CAN HELP US GET THIS MADE


As we continue to move forward in 2022, out in our communities doing outreach, meeting with young people and families to see how we can support them best with our unique mentorship strategies, and continuing to develop and produce more community resources, we strive to remain Grassroots; that means:

 

-No Government Funding or Support to remain Autonomous in everything we do. 

-No Funding from State or Local Council. 

-No shoe boxing the people we work with or the work we do into restrictive red-tape and the bureaucracy that comes with deplorable funding niche's. 

 

We maintain direct control of how we operate as a Social Enterprise. 

 

By supporting this Project, you will be supporting us while we develop the content and take the Field Manuals to Print, which for a grassroots service like MANA Youth Project can be the most expensive part of running your own content. 

Not only will these Field Manuals be given to each new Young Person at the start of their Mentorship Journey, but they will also be sold to external agencies, individuals, schools and others, so that revenue from these sales can be put back into our programs and community.
