On Saturday 18th October 2025 we will be running the second Man v Horse England race across 23 plus miles of the stunning Quantock Hills. It is a awesome and incredible event designed to build community, compassion and friendly competition. Yes a human really can match or even beat a horse and rider over this distance Robin tied with Glenda and her horse Boyse for first place last time.....Sport and friendly competition brings people together but we are here for a bigger broader reason
We do this, not for profit but to support the work of the Pegasus Project which supports children and young people who have experienced psychological trauma due to drug abuse within their families. We are a Community Interest Company (Equi-Librium Coaching and Therapy CiC). We are not for profit and work in partnership with the charity Turning Point who operate Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service. We receive no funding from the NHS, Councils or other statutory bodies. We provide no cost Equine Assisted Psychotherapy using trauma treatment approaches and work with young people who are at significant risk. They bloom and flourish working with horses where traditional "in room" therapy can't help. It takes commitment and money to put on a event like this to fund raise. Your support will help us with this event and further to support our work at the Pegasus Project. Thank you.
