CANCER IS A TAKER. Our goal is simple. Collect donations and stuff it in as many envelopes as possible and get them to families in need. I hope that we can help fill that void with love, compassion and our ability to go when friends can't. On April 13 and 14 a team of local stand up paddlers (Team 843SUP) will paddle for 24 hours to raise grass root funds for local families struggling with cancer. WHY 24? Because it is difficult. When you are dealing with cancer it is a 24/7 beast. It takes personal focus being surrounded by your friends and family to battle and fight. While paddling no way mimics that battle- focusing with friends, family and community for one purpose is very similar. Our goal is to offer a breath of fresh air to families dealing with the wrecking ball of cancer. After the event 100% of funds will go to families in our community. Please donate if you can and support those families that are in the biggest battle of their lives. Please donate. Thanks Team 843SUP. . Friends and donors that for all the support. We have reach our goal and with both online and cash donations will be able to hand out 11 envelopes containing $1000 for families struggling with cancer. We are know reaching out to the Charleston community with our team and verifying families that are in need. Please follow us on FB @Davidjeffcoat and @MonsterandSea as 40 cities start to hand out 24 envelopes. The Charleston 24 will be be handing out the envelopes. I will withdraw cash from our account and stuff the envelopes. Each envelopes will contain $1000.00 for the families that are selected. We currently have identified four of the eleven families.
Please pm me if you have any questions or know families that are struggling with cancer.
Thanks again for you support.
