Salut tout le monde !

Enfin, la voici la voilà, la cagnotte pour ma mammectomie, qui aura lieu le 18 Septembre et prévue depuis Décembre dernier.

Pour celles et ceux qui ne me connaissent pas je m'appelle Sacha, j'ai 25 ans, et je suis étudiant. Après le début de ma transition sociale fin 2020 et ma transition hormonale en Avril 2022, il est temps de passer cette étape qui va changer mon quotidien pour le mieux, tant au niveau mental que physique.

Cette opération du torse va apaiser ma dysphorie au quotidien, dysphorie qui par moment m'empêche de sortir de chez moi et qui a un impact important sur ma santé mentale. Un torse plat ça va être recommencer à respirer correctement après 3 ans de port de binder à des durées bien trop longues que celles recommandées. Binders qui me créent des problèmes de respiration et de posture, ainsi que des douleurs au dos et au thorax.

Je passe par un chirurgien dans une clinique privée à Lyon, et après des péripéties de plusieurs mois pour savoir si oui ou non j'aurais une partie de remboursée par la sécu, j'ai enfin le montant exact que je dois sortir de ma poche. 3440€. Les 1965€ restant sont pris en charge par la sécu.

Pour cette opération je prends une année de césure dans mes études. Environ 2 à 3 mois de convalescence seront nécessaire avant que je cherche un travail alimentaire / des missions d'intérim le reste de cette année.

Les coûts de ma transition sont sur le long terme assez cher, entre l'année prise pour l'occasion qui retarde ma fin d'études, tous les rendez-vous psys non remboursés depuis 2 ans pour avoir des attestations pour les hormones / ce remboursement mammec (~600€), les frais vestimentaires d'une transition, etc. Votre aide pour payer cette opération est donc précieuse, et si l'on dépasse les 3440€ cela me permettra de rembourser certains frais passés de ma transition et/ou des frais post-opératoires liés à cette opération !

Pour atteindre ce montant je fais appel au soutien de mes proches, de mes ami.e.s, ainsi qu'à celui de la communauté et des personnes que peut être je ne connais pas encore.

Hi everyone,

For those who don't know me, my name is Sacha, I'm 25 and I'm a student.

I'm creating this crowdfunding to help me pay my mastectomy, scheduled for September 18th and planned since last December. After starting my social transition at the end of 2020 and a hormonal therapy in April 2022, it's time for me to take this next step in my journey that's going to change my life for the better, both mentally and physically.

This top surgery is really going to relieve my gender dysphoria in everyday life, dysphoria that sometimes prevents me from leaving my house and has a negative effect on my mental health. A flat chest will allow me to breath properly again after 3 years wearing a binder most of the days longer than the recommended durations. These binders are causing me postural and breathing difficulties, as well as back and torso pain.

I'm going through surgery in a private clinic in Lyon, in France. And after a few months waiting to know if yes or no I would have a part of the operation paid by the social security, I know finally the amount of money I will to pay. 3440€. The remaining 1965€ are taken care by the social security (which is the public health insurance system in France).

For this surgery I'm taking a gap year during my studies. Around 2 or 3 months of recovery will be needed before I start looking for a day job the rest of the year.

The cost of my transition is on the long term pretty high, between the gap year that extand my studies period, all the appointments with a psychologist who gave me some documents in order to get my hormones and the surgery, the change of clothes, ... Your help to pay this surgery is really important to me, and if we go higher than the 3440€, it could help me to repay some past costs of my transition and/or some post-surgery costs that might come for my recovery.

To reach this amount I'm calling on the support of my family, my friends, as well as the support of the queer community and its allies.
