The dog who found me in the Caribbean and  helped me get through medical school with a smile, has kept me company along my journey no matter where it took me, and never poops indoors - has cancer.

She had surgery in August to remove a mass that was found to be cancer, but unfortunately that cancer has returned. 

Luckily, both the Chest X-RAY and Abdominal ultrasound do not show any spread of the cancer, which is good news - but to survive, she requires a full amputation of her front leg. 

This surgery can cure her, and with proper love and care she is expected to be back on her feet in a month. I am asking for your donation to help me save this little ball of positive energy and love.
