MamaTiff’s Path to Proximity

on April 14, 2023, Tiffaney took a leap of faith, and decided to try Recovery— to try Living Away from the Things that had Her Bound.

from day one, we locked arms, and got her safe— allowing her to find her body’s voice, watching her learn to trust even the smallest of steps, until she landed EXACTLY where she needed to be.

16 months of rent (that way WAY too expensive for a body that has suffered like theirs do) for a bed, 16 months of house meetings, double-scrubs, drama, and support.

and then, Stephen and I heard a Nudge— and offered (our faith, and) our Idea to my girl, and her heart was terrified to believe it could be real.

almost T H R E E YEARS later and Tiff is still here, choosing her Recovery Body first, and living from there— helping with homework, staying home with littles who are sick, breaking up fights, and baking cinnamon rolls on Saturday mornings.
