Lynn von Schneidau was suddenly impacted by a heath crisis that was barely averted. On January 3rd, Dr. Lynn got food poisoning and was vomiting for 15 hours straight. She felt a sudden pop in her abdomen and thought nothing of it but a muscle tear. Over the next 7 days Lynn began having excruciating pain that worsened everyday. She finally ordered herself a ct and had a perforated bowel, abscesses in her colon and a serious infection that had been ongoing and spreading and was close to septic. She admitted herself to the er and was quickly moved to the icu where she has been since Monday evening. She has a surgical drain inserted into her abdomen and since has had over 10 liters drained. Mama Lynn is such a strong woman who has fought the hardest fight and is continuing to do so everyday. We are still waiting for some results and not sure on a timeline of when she will be released but everyday she is improving little by little. Due to lack of insurance and the costs of hospital bills especially in the icu we are asking for a little help to make this time a little easier for Lynn. Every dollar helps!
